It’s easy. There are two ways:
1. Show Me The Money (at least enough for a nice dinner)
Since this blog is new, you can get in on the ground floor. Yes, we (Hillcrest Media) own plenty of well-trafficked sites that link to this blog, but Rome wasn’t built-in a day and neither was PerezHilton.com, for that matter.
For now we’re charging $50 per month to be a “Supporter of the Revolution” and to have your ad in one of the three boxes on the right-hand side of every page. To have your ad in the “Revolution Recommends” portion it’s $100 per month.
Our real goal with advertisers is to start a business development dialogue with the idea that a $50-$100 ad is sort of a first date.
2. Provide Original Content
Looking for interesting, entertaining, and/or compelling original content about any aspect of the book publishing business. Let’s say 250-400 words. You will of course get a byline and link back to your site. We’ll also put an ad for your product or service on the page of your post (so long as you have one created already).
Who Can and Can’t Submit Content or Ads?
CONTENT RULES
If your content is just a fluff piece pimping your own product or services, you aren’t for us.
If your content is a spam-laden jumble of garbage, please don’t submit it.
If your content is not even remotely related to book publishing (e.g. You want to write about DQ’s newest Blizzard flavor), don’t submit to us.
If you are from the book publishing industry (agents, editors, publicists, publishers, printers, cover designers, etc.) please contact us and give us a short pitch about the topic on which you’d like to write.
ADVERTISING RULES
Your product or service must be one that is designed for authors or book publishers.
If your company has tons of complaints about it, we won’t accept advertising for it. It’s a Jewish guilt thing.
If you’re a competitor to any of our divisions, and you meet the requirements above, we’re happy to work with you. Really. We do this because somewhere down the line, we believe we’ll find bigger ways to work together.

Simply complete the contact form . In the subject line indicate “Ad” or “Article Proposal” and we’ll get back to you quickly.
